Restaurant Gift Certificates On The Cheap

I've seen another poster or two mention that they frequent one of the sites I do quite often so some have probably seen this before.

This site sells gift certificates for restaurants and if you enter in promo code TASTE (until the 31st I believe) you get 80% off of the price they charge.

Normally one of their $25 certificates is like $15 because you have a minimum to buy when you use them. For a $25 certificate you have to purchase like $35 worth of food. Not really a great deal if you buy the certificate for $15 but when you throw in the promo code you get the certificate for $3, it's a pretty good deal.

I've used them before and they work. Lots of times they have alcohol restrictions but I've asked at the restaurant and they have allowed it at times. Also, pretty sure you can only use 1 per month but who is really gonna know?

I just picked up four $25 certificates for $12. Their selection of restaurants probably won't blow anyone away but what the heck.

Just tried it. They actually had several good restaurants in my area. I bought about $135 worth of certificates for $10.

Hopefully the restaurants take them now!

I don't see how they couldn't.

As long as you don't try to get by on any of the restrictions and purchase the minimum, I don't how they could shoot you down.

Oh yeah, that site is dead serious when they say you are NOT TO CALL about the status of your certificate. I've never tried call but I can only imagine what they would say.

I think I've used about 6 or 7 of these certificates at 3 different places since I found the site. No problems at all.

Thanks for the heads up. I did a zip code restaurant search, and there are many great ones to choose from.

I could certainly use some smokin' hot discounts right now.

I can vouch for these. I've used a couple of them near me recently without issue. You just have to abide by whatever restrictions there are. Sometimes there is a minimum purchase, or they won't apply the discount toward booze, etc. Overall a great deal though.
