Resurgence of Doomsday Defense

I cannot remember the last time I was giddy about defense. Two more weeks, just two more weeks until our defense will be reloaded with more weapons: Greg Hardy, Randy Gregory. I only can imagine the fear opposing teams will feel when they face our team. Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and Jason Witten is out with injury. I guess it's time to show the world that defense wins championships. I can't tell you how excited I am for our season to come. The General Lee will make our season exciting enough to watch. I wouldn't be too worried about our season. We still have chance to win games even without our superstars. I think our Cowboys are talented enough to do so.

Reported he sprained both ankles and a knee. Heard that shortly after the game. I did not hear any in game reports. nor have I heard anything since then.

Has anyone heard anything about Gregory and when he may return.
first it was 4 to 6 weeks. Then seen it was possible he would be out only a few weeks, but was not confirmed, other than, the team believed it wasn't as bad as first thought. But that was not from the team, that I seen.

Have seen nothing since a few days after that first game.

I wouldn't put money on Witten missing a game unless he has torn ligaments no longer connecting the bones which were also broken.

I want to see the defense do this a lot longer before I start thinking the Doomsday is returning but it's certainly very nice to see the defense play pretty well the last two weeks.


And Witten had a list of injuries during the Eagles game that he kept playing through and I imagine he'll continue to play through.

The guy is an absolute warrior.

Let's not jinx them, but this defense will have a name of its own, especially with 3 very important players missing.

If we win this game and shut down Julio Jones the defense deserves respect as a top 5 defense. They shut down OBJ and then the Eagles and all the media talks about is how the Eagles looked horrible. Nothing said about how great Dallas has preformed.
