Amendola was cut during TC. When we had some depth or seemed like depth at WR. So I wouldn't put him in the mix. Though he went on to be very good but had the QB's to get him the ball as well.
Ware was released for cap reasons as well he was often injured at the time. He went to a defense that was already very very good. He had no such help in Dallas. He was the defense in Dallas.

But otherwise, yes you are correct. Off all the players they let go and was signed as a FA elsewhere. Not one of them went on to help that team win anything. Also their careers did not take off as to be all pro or anything like that.

Mart B got his SB with NE as a result of them being NE. However he did drop a game winning TD in OT. But another player caught it a few plays later. So he doesn't really count. LOL.

They have done a good job of deciding who and when to let go. The guys that have gone on to have success have been special circumstances. They wanted to keep Ware but didn’t have the money at the time to absorb his escalating salaries. Amendola was a rookie free agent. They wanted to keep him but he got snatched away. I thought he had shown enough to keep over a few of the other wrs but at the time they were really valuing veterans over rookies.

Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne both found some level of career resurgences after they left.

Terrence Newman was solid in Cincinnati, much better than his last few years with you. Pac-Man Jones exactly the same.

Seconded on Ware also Larry Allen with the 49ers. Mo Claiborne was more successful with the jets than he was here. I blame Rob Ryan for that. Still not worthy of the sixth overall pick though. Generally I feel like Dallas does a good job of retaining their talent. It'll be interesting to watch Beasley with the Bills. Rooted for him in Dallas because he was on the team but never liked him personally due to him and his wife's twitter arguments with fans. Seems thin skinned.
