We saw what happens when you let a dozen role players go. I'd argue Turpin is as or more important than anyone else we lost last offseason.

Exactly. He is an elite role player and puts pressure on teams in a few significant ways.

He is good for a handful of game changing plays in a season, and that more than makes up for his salary.

By the same logic, I would also pay Aubrey and Anger and look to solidify the special teams in general and basically look to at least win one of the three phases of the game each week.
