Return a punt or kickoff for a TD

I'm not saying this would have won yesterday's game, but it's a great boost when your special teams can return a kickoff or punt for a TD. It's seems like the last time we did that was during the reign of Cleopatra.

I still think Switzer can do some exciting things back there - especially as a punt returner. I'm hoping something happens soon

I'll settle for knowing how to cover a punt. Xavier Woods easily had one of the worst plays on punt coverage I have ever seen. Got into position and then just backed up into the endzone and turned what could have been starting position inside the 5 yard line into a touchback. Atrocious.

He showed some burst on his one return.. I think he went for about 18 yards which is a long one for us relatively speaking.

Agree he messed up, but to me it looked like he was leaning too far backwards and tried to get too cute with where he positioned himself. That said he missed a great opportunity to limit their field position.

One real asset we have is Chris Jones. He is the real deal as a punter with the ability to place the ball where he wants it.
