Return of Throwbacks?

Here's my question on that. If any team really likes an older version of their uniforms they can get new safety approved helmets colored in the colors of the old helmets and just used those helmets regardless which uniforms they chose to wear. I also don't get why the league is so hung up on a single helmet if teams get safety approved helmets for any alternate helmets they might want to wear.

The Cowboys throwbacks would look stupid with the silver helmets.

Why are teams stuck with using only one color helmet for the season? It doesn't seem like a big deal to let teams where a throwback once a season.

My point is I would like more of this in our offense.

We used to under Landry and again under Jimster put plays like this in..it used to be a trademark.

Kickoff reverses, etc.

We absolutely need to bring it back.

It was effective and it did not always score..

but teams had to prepare for it.

I just want to see football again. It seems like forever. At this point I don't care what uniform they are wearing I just want to see the Cowboys again. And it's only late March!!!
 
Some teams had some god awful throwbacks. The Cowboys throwbacks are nice. It's too bad they can't wear them while they are celebrating their 60th season.

I believe the Cowboys wore their throwback uniforms with their current silver helmets. Personally I don't see why they wouldn't work between a white helmet with a blue star with a white or blue jersey or a silver helmet with a blue star with a white or blue jersey.

I don't care generally but it was annoying me to put the game on and see blue almost every week this past year.

The whites remain the same for a reason.

Jerry has enough money. Knock it off.

Tell me about it. I don't mind some of the older throwbacks even if they're plain or just look blah. Some of them are cool. It's the one's where swatches are violently stitched together with colors haphazardly mixed that violate the retina I find hard to handle. If you were to watch a Steelers VS Eagles game where both teams wore their 30s throwbacks you would suffer immediate sensory overload. Like looking at a cake with bees. It's as if each team designed the other team's uniform. Oh you think that's bad? Wait until you see yours.
 
I might flack for this but i actually dug the Commanders thowback with the leather colored helmet. Packers looked cool too. Steelers... meh. Eagles... puke.

Actually, the '94 thanksgiving day 75th year white shirts with the blue stars on the shoulders aren't bad...actually they are iconic, and I hated them back in '94 because they changed tradition..but now looking back...I like the white shirts with blue stars....and I have been trying to find them again hoping they re-release
