Alabama LB Reuben Foster recently had surgery on his right shoulder to repair a rotator cuff, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Caplan said teams have already been informed of the surgery. Caplan added Foster's timetable is four months. This eliminates him from NFL Combine activities. It also feeds into the "Alabama worn down prospects" label. Foster is an absolute missile at the second level who ill stay on the field for all three downs. He appears to be a top 10 pick.

Rotator Cuffs worry me. I've heard too many stories about lingering issues and never healing right.

He won't drop far if at all. Still top 10, but definitely won't slide out of the top 15 if there's concerns about his shoulder.

Baseball pitchers recover from rotator cuff surgeries just fine.

While he may have problems snapping off a 12-6 curve ball, it won't impact Foster's ability to blow up running games. Love his hard nosed style of play.

Dont see him falling to 28. Since he isnt going to fall, he wont push another player down either. Non story for the Cowboys. The Mahomes story is bettter news though. If he gets over drafted as the speculation now goes, he will push a player down.
