Careful, CowboyRoy is not going to like hearing this. I told him the Cowboys should have kept Connor Williams but moved him to Center. The Dolphins were smart enough to properly evaluate Connor's physical skills, immediately turned him into a Center, and now Connor Williams is one of the best Centers in the NFL......and he costs only $7 million/year.

Current PFF Center grade:

Connor Williams: 77.1 grade with 0 sacks allowed

Tyler Biadasz: 62.6 grade with 3 sacks allowed

PS: By the way, where is CowboyRoy?
Yeah CBR loved Biadasz but he really hasn't improved that much the last couple years, kinda hit his ceiling I think and he's going to command a large contract. Don't think he's worth it. Tough guy, availability has been good but he gets bull rushed a lot.

Connor wasn't great here. Maybe he just got better coaching now or was a better fit at C? I dunno.

No idea where CBR has been. Probably got banned or something.

The real problem is a lack of competition.

Starters seem to be selected based on draft position and contract status. They are not allowing players to compete for the starting position based on ability and performance. if an O-lineman is drafted in the first two rounds or if he just signed a multi-million dollar contract, then he is the starter. Once they pay him with big money, the backup is a low round pick or undrafted rookie.

Starters on this team have nothing to worry about, they are rarely replaced once they sign a big contract. There is no sense of urgency on their part to perform at their highest standard, their jobs are safe.
