I hear you and yeah, for us it might be called cringe.

It’s the same reason people are dogging GOTI

It’s a different demo in every possible way from the average Zone poster.

What is “cringe” to our core Zone demo might be “valid” to athletes in their twenties and stuff we think is “cool”, they would call “corny”.

And even then, even the words have different meanings or at least a different nuance. While we would define corny as sappy, sentimental, outdated, or cheesy, young black culture uses the word to mean lame, fake or try-hard (aka cringe)

It just goes to show that it’s hard to judge other people’s style, particularly when they share little in common from one group to another
