Revel the Devil

Yeah….either he is a total steal or becomes another Jerry special of the past, trying to steal a “would have been a first rounder of not for ______.”

Oh, he was a good player for sure. I mean, on film the only corners who might have been better, to me, were Hairston and Hunter.

I can't put my finger on it. I think Hunter will be good, but maybe won't live up to the hype year 1?

Or maybe I'm wrong. That happens too.

Hopefully we didn't get another gimp to add to our extensive collection,,,, I do have a good feeling about this one.

per media heads he would have been a 1st round guy had it not been for the injury. so if he comes back to that level yes we got a steel. or if he's Jaylon Smith of the CBs Nope just another waisted pick.
If they get 4 years out of Revel like they got out of Jaylen I’d say success.

That's always the danger, that these injured guys don't recover as quickly as you like or even to the level that they were before the injury. Of course, other players draft injured players, too, so it's not just Dallas that takes a chance on talent. KC saw good value in the OT Simmons at the end of the first round, for example.

..remember when Jaylon came back. He was ballin first 2 yrs, then declined after.

Hopefully, not all players are the same. ;).
IIRC, Jaylon was only doing what we considered "ballin", because he was doing better than expected, under the circumstances. I don't know if we would have felt that way, had he not been coming back from a horrific injury.

..thing is will he be ready in time for game play?
This time next year you will be hearing how he's now back to feeling 100% being another year removed from the injury. How it's just totally different and so much improved from last year (this year) and he looks forward to showing his real self in 2026.

I don't care if he plays this year because I don't he won't be the same player pre-injury.

He didn’t decline?
The Rams with misdirection exposed he couldn’t diagnose and fill the correct gap in the playoffs.
Or more accurately they watched the Colts game from earlier in the season and perfected it.
You can probably thank Eberflus for his demise!
