No way he comes here but it would be nice.

The Patriots have declined Darrelle Revis' $20 million team option for 2015, making him a free agent.
The expected move has Revis within inches of the open market, but Yahoo's Charles Robinson repots the sides are still talking. The Pats have reportedly asked Brandon Browner to restructure his contract, a sign they're trying to free up some money for a new Revis deal. There's still a strong chance New England keeps its No. 1 corner, but Revis has a history of following the money. Other teams will likely offer more of it on the open market.

Now that's a big money corner.

Yeah Revis is just looking to sign one year deals for the rest of his career so wouldn't have to worry about being married to a bad contract but still I doubt Dallas wants to pay that much, MAYBE if they could get Dez on a long term deal to free up some room.

I agree but the fact that he isn't in the market for some huge 7 year deal is at least intriguing. He is happy with one year deals.

Now I do not believe there is any chance the Cowboys will be interested.

I believe Revis is said to be looking for as much guaranteed as possible, not one year deals. Have not seen any evidence otherwise.

I remember reading reports last season that Revis will just sign short term contracts for the rest of his career to maximize his bank account(see Lebron James).

Why did he sign a one year deal with the Patriots? He could've surely got a long term contract paying him loads of guaranteed money last season even after a disappointing stint in TB.

I think he signed the one year deal to prove he still had it and could demand more money. I think he will end up a Bronco or Saint.

I heard they were letting Browner test the market. He is a guy I would take over Carr for sure.

LeBron signed a short term contract to maximize his bank account after a new CBA is drafted after next season, its not going to be an annual occurrence.
