While I was all in on getting the swing tackle position filled this year.
With the recent o line signings.

I am now shifting that the Cowboys three major areas of focus will be to:
1 - rebuild the LB group.
2 - add additional interior DL.
3 - WR .

I do feel they will go best player available at the positions and if nothing presents itself in the first round at the 19 slot - trade down.

Secondary places of focus in no particular order:
RB
S
TE

If they get a fit they will draft that player.

I agree with the sentiment above, but you already have 10 WR on the team roster, and while 6 will make the team - IMO you only take a WR if they are BPA. I am not sure it is a position of need though.

LB you have 2 starters and questions. Definitely a position of need.
DT you have one starter and lots of questions. Yes DIrving and Crawford can move inside, but they are kind of situational DL, and not true DT's. Price, Ash, Ross, Vellano are all questionable and definitely in a position for upgrade.

IMO, Dallas could add 2LB's and 2DT's and still be wondering if they have enough talent at those positions.

Everywhere else is just upgrade if you think they grade out better than current.

WR is a major need. Of the 10 currently on the roster, only 6 are legit 53 man candidates (Dez, Hurns, Williams, Beas, Thompson, Switzer). Beasley and Thompson are FAs after the year and Williams is likely to be cut next offseason. Dez is his own question mark so that leaves next year a HUGE question mark. I think it makes the most sense to go WR in the 1st, so long as one of the top talents doesn't fall.

Beasley is replaceable as Switzer is a clone and Hurns is also quite good out of the slot. Also, either 1st round receiver (Ridley or Moore) can also play some slot. Use Beasley's 3.25 million savings in conjunction with available money and money that can be activated (In any number of ways) to shore up the LB core with a proven veteran like Bowman. Rookie wide receivers also experience a huge learning curve, so getting a year under his belt would leave them prepared for next year, when the group is in question.

I'm in the minority, but I think Moore and Ridley are head and shoulders above the rest of receivers in this draft, while the draft is deep with interior linemen on both sides of the ball that are interchangeable IMO after the elite at the top.

What would be your overall grade in a 1-100 grading system of the WR's on the Dallas Cowboys.....assuming that they keep the 6 you have above and you think Brown and Canon are cut and have no upside?

Considering that they are still bringing in receivers for visits and still visiting receivers at various pro days around the country, I doubt seriously they are done with that position. My best guess is they will be looking to package one of the old guard (Beasley, Dez, TWill is injured so I doubt he can be included in a draft day trade) with picks to move up somewhere in the second round and find a replacement for the guy packaged...Beasley is the logical choice, given the lack of a significant cap hit and the fact that the Cowboys will find more slot receivers in the second round than X's prepared to take Dez's place. Christian Kirk and DJ Moore is who I think they may target there.
