Revisiting our original predictions: Status Check

I thought it would be fun to go back and look at some of our original predictions and see if we're on track.

I still think we go into the bye at 3-2. The Giants game coming out of the bye (where we will have many of our horses back) is critical. Originally, I figured that to be a loss. I'm seeing a W now. The other critical game is 2 weeks late with Philly hosted in Big D. That Philly game is going to loom large. A win keeps us firmly planted in the NFCE drivers seat. A loss makes it complicated. I see us winning that game and getting both Tony & Dez back in the saddle for the home stretch at 6-4.

Just trying to think big picture here. All is not completely loss in yesterday's debacle.

I don't trust Weeden and I don't think the coaches do. I think the only games we can win between now and Miami are Saints and Bucs.

True. I don't think many expected us to run the table. There are too many factors involved to throw in the towel at this point.

We will get Gregory, Hardy, & RoMac back after the bye--maybe Dez too. I think that make NY, Sea, Philly, TB, & Miami very winnable.

I think when the season ends we will be at 6 and 10 or 7 and 9. To many injuries to many players out for extended time and the one coming back will take some time to get back in game shape such a season of promise lost before it every really started right now the cowboys are not a very good TEAM.
