It's stunning how bad the pass defense has been all year. The players deserve a lot of the blame but i cant believe the collection of players defensively can be this bad. Maybe a new voice with some different ideas/schemes will get these guys performng much better. I mean, right now, it's basically been target practice all year.

It's Garrett's fault.

He should've had them more focused and prepared in training camp, and he sure as heck should've had his defensive staff focus on the details and install a more aggressive defensive mindset in the OTA's, mini-camps and camp.

Looks likely that we finish the season in the basement now, and we probably end up with the 5th pick i the draft.

We have a shot at Peterson, although Denver being ahead of us makes me nervous since they could certainly use him as well.

Schedule wise, I'm guessing that no matter who becomes HC next season, we'll be calling them a genius by mid season. LOL! We play a bunch of dogs next year, to include the NFCW, Carolina, Miami, Buffalo (granted, they fought hard this season) and probably a MN team that might improve to average at best next season. Some HC is going to look a lot better than he is in 2011, assuming the new CBA is in place in time.
