Even if it is technically a penalty, it's still the wrong call. The answer is SO EASY.
Orlovsky is also an idiot, because the separation occurred when Ramsey flopped.
Orlovsky, yes. He did hammer Wentz on yesterday's game though, but he is his darling.Isn't that other guy the Wentz lover?
This is right, the O screwed the pooch in this one. The D was bailed out by the other team's O being mediocre as well. A good team would have beaten us by 20 last night.Agree with Orlovsky explaining that the offense was a dud, but disagree with him saying its an OPI. No creativity in offense, none. Sloppy as hell as well with penalties, not just the OPI. Block in the back by lamb, then the tight end had an offensive pass interference in the back of the endzone; still scored that drive. Tyron Smith with penalties as well. Just sloppy play. For as much as our defense played bad, 20 points allowed on the road. We need the offense to come through.
He's right Ramsey had his hand on Gallup for 20 yards..the rule is no contact after 5 yards if you want to be technically correct.
What's funny though is that in this GIF, it's Gallup who is initiating contact to slow Ramsey. Ramsey only gets a hand on Gallup AFTER Gallup's already been touching him. He doesn't lock up Gallup's arm to boot. So how do you call this?
He did but it was a humble....he told him he sucked yesterday in the mist of "You are TOO good to play this way..." and all of that crap.Orlovsky, yes. He did hammer Wentz on yesterday's game though, but he is his darling.
The announcers last night didn’t like the call, and NBC’s expert rules official also thought it was a mistake.
Unfortunately that’s part of the game, since it’s ultimately a judgement call.
These things tend to even out over the course of a season.
