Better coaches than Rex have been fired...

Didn’t the so-called GOAT coach get fired?

How about the newly crowned SB winning coach, wasnt he fired?

Comparing Reid and Big Bill to Rex Ryan? This must be Rex or his extra tubby brother.

The difference is clear. What is also clear is Rex will never be a HC again in this league.

You are talking to a troll who when someone criticized Rex Ryan, a coach with a losing record, the first thing that popped in his head was to compare that coach to a... retired quarterback. You are expecting too much if you want a coherent answer, lol.

    Well, he apologized........

“I can’t believe I said that, used that word,” Ryan said on SportsCenter a few hours after he initially made the comment. “Obviously it was a poor choice by me to say what I said about Amari. Anybody who knows me — look, quite honestly, I think the world of every player and have a great deal of respect for every single player in the National Football League, including Amari Cooper. With that being said, I think the Cowboys overspent for Amari Cooper. The reason for it is, I don’t doubt that this is an elite player. He has those traits. But an elite player to me shows up on the road, he shows up against great corners, and he shows up in crunch time, and those are three things that Amari Cooper has not done so far in his career. In fact, I think he’s won one playoff game as a player. And all of those things are how I feel about this young man as a receiver. But what I added at the end of that, I want to apologize to Amari again and hope he accepts my apology.”

    There's that.

We overpaid for Zeke and now Coop as this is the price one pays when their QB is inept of talent.

P.S. Even with Zeke and Coop we still can't score against playoff teams....

IF you look at the WRs that have been paid 20 mil a year they arent worth the money. Beckham was traded, Brown was traded, Julio isnt worth it. Heck you would think after Dallas was saddled with over paying Dez they would learn their lesson about paying WRs too much money. Zeke on the other hand is a work horse but is being completely run into the ground because the QB play is so inconsistent. How many times do we see Zeke break off a couple runs and catch a couple screens and Dallas gets into the redzone and Zeke comes out for a breather and Dak hands to Pollard for 2yds and than throws two incomplete passes and the Cowboys settle for a field goal. And than everyone blames Zeke for coming out of the game.

Yeah Rex probably went a little too far in his criticism...especially since that word is typically used to describe players who have a questionable character off the field. I’ve never heard anything bad about Cooper in that area.

That being said, Rex could’ve just used different language to say the same thing. Something is missing from him. And I agree that I wouldn’t have given him that contract.

    Our fanbase has become hysterical.
Cut Lawrence, he's paid too much
Cut Elliott, he's paid too much
Don't resign Prescott, he wants too much

Everyone is overpaid. If some of the miserable fans we have were in charge we'd have no team and they'd still be pissing and moaning.

He’s a turd that Dak needs. We saw what a turd Dak was without him.

We basically have the Triplet Turds. Lol

But we have no chance without our turds. Ha

It seems very fitting for our turd ownership.

Turds on top of turds. :)

Not me. I thought it was the right call based on the rules . And I didn’t think we’d win anyway if we’d of scored. Who knows. We hadn’t stopped Rodgers.

But yea , it was a tough call. One that cost an opportunity to win. But I’ve always kinda of blamed Dez for trying to extend the play there on 4th down when he should have just gone down with possession . 1st and goal.

It's where you spend your money. Cowboys have really been very consistent in that area. DE,WR,QB,RB. while WR is an area you have to find production like 1100 and 8 at a cheaper price than 100 million dollars. RB? No teams really pay RBs anymore. Funny how every team sets market value but the Cowboys are setting the tone over drafting and overpaying for a position again you can fill cheaper. DE? Jerry loves his war daddies. Might be his favorite player to overpay while completely ignoring the interior D line!! Hard to even imagine that 25 years of that didn't somehow work out? So far the philosophy of where this teams spends their money hasn't paid off. No pun intended. And Prescott while good at times, isn't highest paid QB good. If he took 30 million by now... done and done. But nope, gotta hold out to be the highest paid player in the history of football. Players don't justify these contracts. Hasn't happened yet. Again hoping a different coach can change that. Just slightly! Enough to where the highest paid players in the league can see the playoffs.
