RG3's Top 5 MVP race

Two receivers are topping his list? A WR has never won league MVP. He has AJ Brown topping the list, but Tyreek Hill has better numbers. lol RG3 might want to find another gig.
Maybe he's considering the QBs who are throwing to them, or how much worse off their respective teams would be without them?

i don't see AJ Brown having a Randy Moss, Megatron like season.
It's not that unique or in a class like such. Ditto for Hill.

Tua will run up the score with the weak sistas, but with the more competitive NFL teams, he tends to struggle
big time. I expect Tua to have about 5 turnovers vs Cowboys defense .

Honestly... I think this is a better list than the other one someone posted on ESPN. Or the odds one. Not saying that cause Dak is in top 5. AJ Brown probably should be #1 based on first half season. Didn't have an unusual highlight game against us, take that as a compliment on our skilled DBs, because he did it against many other teams. And Stroud as a rookie does deserve to be in the top 5. Very jealous of Houston, they have a franchise HOFer at QB now.

It’s pretty apparent that RG3 is trying to make a name for himself as a hot take member of the media….good luck to him…there’s plenty of willing listeners
I know right? Plus, he has the wrong Brown at number 1. It should be Noah Brown. Dude taught Dak how to be a better QB and is now bringing along the young pup Stroud.

They have good QBs throwing to them. Hurts was in the MVP conversation last season. He’s developed into one of the better QBs in the league. Tua is having a good season. It’s not like these receivers are stuck with duds at QB.

Right, but maybe they consider Tua to be better than Hurts, and maybe that's why they have Brown over Hill. Just a possibility.

You’re saying “they” but it’s RG3’s list. This is his opinion. Doubt many if anyone thinks Tua is better than Hurts. Tua has better numbers this season, but no one in the league has weapons like he does. It’s almost like he has an Olympic track team of playmakers around him.

Sorry, "he". And I agree that Tua has more weaponry, but maybe RGIII is going by his eye test. I don't have a sure explanation, just throwing out possible reasons. I don't wanna be in his head.

If a WR was to win it the odds of hill being that guy is much higher than brown. But there’s lots of games left and QB’s tend to get the votes for mvp over every position.

His list is all based on his opinion, and in my opinion his list doesn’t make much sense. He has AJ Brown topping his list, but Tyreek Hill has more catches, yards and TDs. Hill has been a human highlight reel all season. Hill has had five plays of 40+ yards including a 69 yard play and a 54 yard play. If you’re going to have a receiver topping the list, it has to be Tyreek Hill. Doubt you’ll find a more puzzling MVP list than RG3’s.

Id vote Myles Garrett.
Besides QB a pass rusher would be much more likely than a WR. Either of his WR picks will lose votes to their own QB’s. There’s a reason WR’s don’t win mvp’s. They can’t do it on their own where a pass rusher can

I agree, if you’re going to have a WR topping an MVP list, it has to be Tyreek Hill. I still believe a QB will end up winning the award. No position influences the outcome of games like a QB.

Huh? I don't know the "everyone" you're talking about, but Dak only looked really good in one of the first 3 games (vs. Jets).
That is all the sports talk shows were talk about back then.

The comparisons to Lawrence Taylor were non-stop.

I don't care about these individual awards. Win the Super Bowl and then let's talk about who is the MVP.

Dak is absolutely not an MVP candidate.

Let’s just tap the brakes and hope for a good playoff position and see what happens in the playoffs.
Based on his play so far this season and our record, he’s certainly a candidate, but no one is saying he’s going to win or even finish in the top two or three. Hard to find any QB who’s played better the last three weeks. If he keeps playing like this, he’ll definitely be in the MVP conversation at the end of the season.
