(sorry, that headline should have a question mark, but can't figure out how to access it. Mods, breakup your backroom poker game and give old Gimme a hand on this)

SportsCheatSheet has this to say about the Cowboys: If we’ve learned anything from watching the 4-10 Dallas Cowboys play in 2015, it’s that they’re terrible without quarterback Tony Romo under center. As a result, given that the four-time Pro Bowler spent most of the season out of the lineup due to injury and will turn 36 next April, we’d say it’s about time that Jerry Jones and company begin the search for his eventual replacement — or at least a legitimate backup. And who knows, perhaps that search will begin and end with Griffin III.

th

Manziel is starting to look better and better

(Other possible landing sites for the socks-loving and very, ahem, handsome RGIII: Denver, Cleveland, New Orleans, Filthydelphia.)

heeeeeeeeeell no

I remember seeing him at a Texas Rangers game before he was drafted. If I knew he was going to be drafted by the Foreskins I would have put him in a headlock and gave him a nuggy.

Funny thing. I'm sitting on a plane at the gate of Reagan Airport, in DC.

Gimme hitting the eggnog early

Oh, no mate. The eggnog will wait until midnight. then comes the heavy artillery.

Look, I get it, RGIII is a mere ghost of what he once was. His insecurity, well, he's hit rock bottom and at first glance he seems not a good fit anywhere. But can he possibly be any worse than the backups we've had?
But I think it's moot. RGIII's ego will demand big bucks. And let us all say, in chorus, boys and girls, HIT THE ROAD JACK!

Draft. Draft. Draft.
If Manziel can land here, OK. Then we will draft RB, Corner, Safety, in that order, on draft day.

I'd take him..

I want mobility in my backup QB.

He is accurate throwing downfield and he can make plays outside of the scheme..

I'm all for this move.

He hasn't been able to do any of that for about 3 years.

I thought he was pretty good as a rookie and obviously a great college player, but he's kind of fallen apart since. Obviously, if he hadn't, this wouldn't even be a conversation.
