Signs with Rosenhaus visits with Browns. Seems like the league has a verdict of damaged goods. I'm a little surprised by this, Brock gets a small fortune and Griffin gets the factory of sadness.

Looks like we might have a choice between Wentz and Goff. :)

He really should go to Kansas City and sit behind Alex Smith, learn the system for a year or two and then likely take over. Going to Cleveland tells me that he's learned nothing and really just blames the coaches for his lack of success.

I agree. I've read reports that multiple teams have offered him a backup role for backup money, but seemed very interested in developing him as the pocket passer he wants to be. Apparently he thinks he's already there and wants to prove himself now. If he wasn't allowing his ego to get the best of him, he would take a 2 year deal and if he's really developed the way he thinks he has, he could win the starting role the way Kirk took it from him in DC.

Very disappointing as I've been rooting for him, but he really isn't doing himself any favors.

RGMe has an ego as big as another guy in DC and they never learn. They are never the problem. Its always everybody else thats at fault.

We should have just kept this mofo for vet min plus incentives and put him on the practice squad.

I would imagine most of us are thinking...yes...YES Cleveland...please take RGIII or trade for Kap because that would mean that we have a better chance at getting our QB at 4.

Problem is if the cowboys have already made their decision to take Bosa, Ramsey or some other player at 4.

I honestly hope they are just blowing smoke OR they think that cleveland will take the QB that the cowboys want so they are preparing to go Defense unless that one QB falls...and if that is the case and cleveland gets their QB prior to the draft and go in ad different direction...good to go.

If Cleveland does get their QB prior to the draft, what some might not be thinking about is if Cleveland trades their pick to a team that is behind the Cowboys and that teams jumps up and takes the one QB that the Cowboys might take at 4.

I know I know...I am just rambling and making it worse.

Point is...I am not going to let myself get too excited if Cleveland does get a QB prior to the draft.

Concerning us taking the QB I want (Wentz) at four over Bosa or Ramsey...I am not going to get my hopes up.

If Cleveland were to get Krapernick or RGMe they could still very well take a QB with their pick. If I were them and thot Wentz or Goff could be a franchise guy at some point I wouldnt hesitate taking either one even if Krap or RG were picked up.

Yeah, you would think but apparently Griffin is a delicate flower who wouldn't handle the QB controversy very well. People are questioning whether he can even play for a "tough" coach like Hue Jackson.

Like Risen says...with RGIII...I think he wants to a starter and unless he has no chance otherwise will indicate he wants to be a starter and not a backup.

Considering Kap...I don't know that they spend the pick or picks to trade for him to make him with the idea of making him a backup.

Now I get your point...they could take either one and make them the starter and still draft a QB at four and let them be groomed under RGIII or KAP...but I have a feeling that neither of those QBs would be happy about it since they just came from teams that essentially demoted them for other QBs.

I'm pretty sure RGIII is not dictating his career at this point. He will go with any team that will sign him which is a big reason he is visiting Cleveland.

RGIII will make it clear he wants to be a starter.
Whether he gets that or not is another story.
Maybe that is why Cleveland is the only name that he has met with, because they might be the only team desperate enough to have him as a starter AND a big name to help with tickets.

Again...what he wants and what he gets is another story...but we are talking Cleveland here and chances are no matter how they go in the draft (Wentz, Goff or no QB) they will screw it up in the first round.
