Browns have a lot of layers in the front office ( Dorsey, Highsmith, couple others I'm too lazy to look up)

I think you underestimate the negative effect of that owner.

It's odd for me to say this but...……….the Browns are a tad bit overrated at this point. OBJ wants out and Mayfield is well, really the one that is overrated. They are better than they were but lets face it, it's Cleveland. Disclipline issues abound.

Panthers have a lot to offer that could make that opportunity attractive. An opportunity to draft/acquire a franchise QB, quality pieces on offense and defense to build around, a state of the art facility opening in Rock Hill on 234 acres in about two years, and a small market that loves the team, Tepper is likely going to build a new stadium since BOA Stadium will likely be converted into a soccer stadium to support his newly granted MLS franchise, etc.

Not to mention, the Panthers have a way better reputation and a more extensive history of winning recently than the Browns. Nothing about a Cleveland job is attractive unless you're a guy like Kitchens.
