Trade premium picks for a WR and then give him a huge contract. What an original concept!
Yes, the Cowboys should try something new and innovative like trading high picks for a perceived elite receiver.
Typically, it might be a good idea to do some research and discover if any other NFL team ever tried that strategy. I'm sure it's been done before but i don't recall exactly which team that was. It's a shame because now we don't have any frame of reference to compare.
Not to worry, I'm sure it turned out great for that team, probably the last missing piece for that Super Bowl run.
So that brings up another great question. Why is such a natural football guru like Rich Eisen not a GM for some lucky NFL team?
