Brad sham was just on the pregame with his usual segment.

He referred to the Commanders as a ZOO.

He said he went over and talked to Richard Bartel who is the skins number 3 tonight.

He asked him how he felt about being on the skins and bartel said it pains him to put on the burgundy everyday!!

then he asked him if it is as bad behind the scenes as it seems and bartel said it is worse, he said you cant imagine how bad it is here!!

Just thought I would share.

Better at burning bridges than he is at playing QB.

Idiot is currently crossing the bridge he's burning.

Me either. Knowing "Nero" Snyder, Bartel just bought his ticket out of there.

Probably what he wants.

Ha ha. I guess the fans followed through on their plan to sell their tickets to Cowboys fans.

Cowboys fans represented about 1/3 to 1/2 of the crowd there last night.

By the 4th quarter, it was 75% Cowboys fans! It was awesome!

Wow. The situation there must be so much worse than people can imagine for a guy whose just lucky to have a job in the NFL to say something like that publically.

That's not the smartest thing to do when you're not a talented enough player to keep jobs on your talent alone. He needs teams to want a guy who can just show up and be a 3rd QB and you don't want to really be burning too many of those bridges like that.

It's hilarious, for sure, as an outside fan and that sheds the light about how bad it is there even more, but he'd probably better be real mindful of what he says on the record like that considering his position in the NFL.

It must have been. Did you hear the cheering as the seconds clicked off at the end of the game???? I couldn't hear any boos. And I watched it on TV but yet noticed it!!

Bartel is gone either way when the new coaching staff comes in, regardless of his statements, and it sounds like he doesn't mind. I imagine some people in Bartel's situation have made their peace that they'll never be an NFL QB, and might just be ready to move on and start their next career and feel useful doing something again. I'm sure making $500k holding a clip board seems like a nice gig, but it seems like a pretty empty life to me. Especially if you're in a losing atmosphere and everyone is negative and fighting.

There were a lot of Cowboy fans there - I was one of them but at the most it was maybe 15%

But at the end on the visitors side all that was left was Cowboy fans behind the bench.

Yeah I know I'd be real depressed and upset if they were paying me 500K to lift weights, play some football in practices, and stand around and watch football games.

That would really just kill me.

Get out of here. :p

Self actualized people who are goal driven need something more out of life.

Wasting the best years of your life just standing around, twiddling your thumbs, being useless and finding creative ways to kill time doesn't sound very appealing to me. Maybe if you were on a Superbowl contender and you had a chance to be a part of something special. Otherwise it seems like a colossal waste of youth.

If they really want to punish Bartel, they should name him starter for the Chargers game and put him out there behind that awful O-Line of theirs.
