And who can forget his other roles in "The Longest Yard" (the original), and as the Kanamit in "To Serve Man" from the Twilight Zone.

Recently I also watched an episode of the "The Rifleman" in which he appeared.

Richard Kiel in "So Fine", a somewhat forgotten movie from the early 80's was LOL funny as "Mr. Eddy".

Been a while since I saw the serve man.. Gotta look for him. Thanks.

Ever a\since I saw "Moonraker", he was forever entrenched in my mind, kind of represented a real tough guy/movie villain. He was also pretty good in "Happy Gilmore" as the heckler.

Don't forget about his appearance on Gilligan's Island

"Jaws" terrified me as a kid....
For some reason I always got him confused with Ted Cassidy whom amongst other stuff was on an old episode of Star Trek.
RIP Richard Kiel

Yeah, I can see how it would be easy to confuse the two of them. Ted Cassidy was a large man, but not like Kiel. In "The Rifleman" it was striking how much bigger Kiel was than Chuck Conners who was a big man.

The "alien" looked quite similar to the 3 aliens in the Star Trek episode the Menagerie, Part 2.

Props for mentioning "The Menagerie"...

Great two parter offering the pilot episode of the series.

Big Jeffrey Hunter fan and thought he would have made a terrific long-term captain.

Susan Oliver, one of those beautiful actresses of the 60's & 70's that no one remembers or talks about... And she died way too young. :(
