Cut some scrubs like Will Allen, Edgar Jones, etc. and play a couple of roster spots short if need be to create cap space. Cowboys need to go all in if they want to contend this season. I'm not sure how one could watch the game last night and consider one team a Super Bowl contender, and not the other.

One's 2-3 and the other is 5-0.

We will see what the next two weeks hold. We have a chance to solidify our hold on the division and get back in the talk about being a contender.

That's assuming we play offense similar to what we played yesterday. It would not surprise me at all if we come out next week and get almost completely shut down on offense. And that's the problem with this team. They need to have that sense of urgency and focus every single week and they don't

A quick look at this 2-3 team and the recent history is not going to make him consider Dallas as even a playoff contender, much less a Super Bowl contender. It is possible for them to make the playoffs due to bring in a weak division, but this team would need an intervention of the heavens to actually win a playoff game.

Based off of the past 5-7 years if you get in the playoffs you don't need an intervention of heavens to win a playoff game. There is still a lot of games to be played between now and the end of the season so let's see what happens the rest of the way first before giving up.

It is not a matter of giving up. It is the quality of coaching and talent level of the team. there are 9-7 teams that can pull together to make a run. Dallas is not one of them. They have not shown that they have been able to put a decent run together since 2007. That is just the simple reality of the Dallas Cowboys.

I'm sure Jerry and Stephen can sort out the cap space to sign Seymour for rest of season. And they should figure something out soon since Hatch has a shoulder injury and is likely out for the game on Sunday against the Skins.

Cowboys can ill afford to lose another starter on DL, especially with Ware ailing too.
