10. Story out of Lincoln, Nebraska of all places - apparently the writer was in Dallas for the Big 12 Media Days - says at Cowboys Stadium there is for sale $800,000 suites in which you can purchase a $90 pizza. That's about $11 a slice by my sportswriter math. However, Dallas Only Daily's Todd Archer says not so fast Mr. Husker Rumor Starter.

9. In a word, rookie quarterback Stephen McGee is strug-guh-leeng. This morning he dropped two more snaps, he has a horrible habit of taking too long to get rid of the ball and he rarely throws anything beyond a 5-yard checkdown. In other words, he's a rookie.

8. From comments on this here blog and calls/texts/emails to this morning's radio show on 105.3 The Fan, I get the feeling Cowboys fans don't empathize with a media who feels "censored" by a team prohibiting the reporting of "unique" offensive formations or plays. The general consensus: We don't care if we hear news about the team, just win baby! Fine. But when the Cowboys debut their Razorback formation later this week, you won't hear a peep of how it's run or who's running it from me. Right?

7. Cowboys worked on punt and kick-off return this afternoon at The Alamodome. Kick returners: Felix Jones and Miles Austin. Punt returners: Jones, Patrick Crayton, Terence Newman and rookie DeAngelo Smith.

6. Rookie kicker David Buehler continues to boom his kick-offs 5+ yards into the end zone. Last year the Cowboys, with Nick Folk, didn't have a single touchback. The Carolina Panthers, by contrast, had 30.

5. Terrell Owens' "T.O. Show" reality crap on VH1 slipped to the 862nd-ranked TV show this week. He tied with some 3:30 a.m. offering called Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. This brings me much joy.

4. The offense went 0 of 3 this afternoon, with none of its first three units able to score against the defense in two-minute drills. Tony Romo, in fact, threw two interceptions during the period - one to rookie DeAngelo Hall and one to Patrick Watkins in the end zone. "It's not like we're game-planning to beat a particular defense," Romo explained. "We're just putting in our plays."

3. Romo finally answered a question about his break-up with Jessica Simpson after the afternoon workout. Wait ... for ... it ... "It's," he said, "part of life."

2. Of the four rookie linebackers (make it three, since Stephen Hodge just got on the field after an injury) I'd rank them 1. Victor Butler. 2. Brandon Williams. 3. Jason Williams through one week of camp. Only, that is, because that's how Bradie James ranks 'em. "They're all lost," says James, "but Victor usually corrects his mistakes the fastest."

1. Today was the day. Finally. The day Roy Williams and Tony Romo clicked. The pair hooked up for two touchdowns in 11-on-11 drills this morning. Williams may not have get-behind-the-defense speed. But I'll say this: If he gets two hands on the ball, consider it caught.

If he makes the team, I'm blaming you, Tony.

First and last warning Richie, don't ever make that mistake again!
