If Levi Brown dropped that far I would trade up before the Giants got him since Flo is in the last year of his contract!

He'll shift things, but that's going to happen with any mock.

The thing about Kiper, is he initially predicts a team will take 3 guys. Then over the next two months he throws out about 4 other names per a team, so that in the end there's audio/video of him saying a team will take 7 guys...and odds are they end up with one of them.

i know he has Titan's taking Meachem at #19, but that's the reciever i really like. He seems very polished when i watch him play. The only thing is he has been moving up the draft board for the last month and i don't think he will be when the Boys pick at #22. Although i am one of those who would like to see the boys drop down a few spots to get an additional pick, if for some reason Meachem is there at #22, i would like the Boys to stay put and pick him.

On the nosey. I couldn't agree more.

After the first round, it's anyone's guess.

Doing a mock, beyond round one, is kinda silly.

Seems a waste of energy doesn't it.

The one to pay attention to, as someone above noted, is the one that comes out late Friday night right before the draft. Historically, I would bet the stats would prove that he has been better than anyone with that version of his mock draft.

I remember seeing his mock draft right before the '94 draft and he had the Raiders taking Rob Fredrickson in the middle of the first round and I thought he was crazy. Sure enough the next day that's who they took. From that time on I've followed his draft eve mock and he seems to always be the most accurate of any of the pregnosticators.

If he still has us taking Bowe with that version that's when I will take notice.

I agree with trading up for Levi Brown, it would be tough to stand pat and watch the Giants take him a couple of spots before.

I personally covet Ginn, I think he's one of the top three playmakers in this draft along with C.J.& Peterson, I would try to move up to 15 if necessary to get him.

If we stood pat, and the draft fell like this, I would take Jarrett, Ross or Merriweather. Staley would be ok to, but not when you could move up a couple for Levi.

Two years ago in his second to last mock Goose pegged both of our picks (Ware & Spears), then he changed it up in his final mock to Ware & Clayton.

If Houston is there we have to grab him. I really doubt he will last to us.
A few weeks ago on Talkin' Cowboys, Mickey said that team scouts think Houston is too "handsy" and don't know if he will be able to adjust to the contact rules in the nfl. Their afraid he will get a lot of PI calls. So I wouldn't get my hopes on Houston's name being called at # 22.

I can see that, but I'll say that's why I like him so much. He blankets guys better than any of the other corners in this draft. That may get him in trouble because of his hands, but if he can learn to cover without using his hands, he'd be a tremendous player. Still, best corner in the draft, in my opinion, and the only corner I'd want to take in the 1st.

Mannnnn I just said in another thread that Bowe reminds me a lot of Michael Irvin without the off the field problems then I look at Goose's mock draft and he says the identical thing! I think Bowe is "fast enough" to be your true number 1 WR!

Does he really think Detroit has given up on Kevin Jones so quick?
Adrian Peterson is a fine player but the Lions need to stop rolling high picks on skill positions and only hitting one out of three occasions.

First it was wideouts and only one, Roy Williams, has performed up to the billing so have they now moved on to runningbacks?

Detroit should take Brady Quinn if he is still there.

Still in a twist of irony despite the wideout happy draft ways of Detroit in the past few years you could hardly fault them if they decided to line Calvin Johnson up across from Roy Williams.

I want Bowe ...... He will be a star in this league.

I agree, I actually think Bowe and Meachem will end up better than Ginn and Jarrett.

That's an interesting comment. I didn't think we would get a shot at him.

I think he's going to do well, too.

No problem with Johnson IMO either. They should trade down if possible. That's their best option IMO. They need players. Or pick a coveted player then trade.

I think you're right about those two. I'd take Meachem first but either of those is a safer pick. I'd still take another player on defense myself.

If either Detroit or Cleveland takes Calvin Johnson, then they might possibly line up the most physically gifted set of WR's ever, scary!

Either C.J. & Braylon Edwards, or C.J. & Roy Williams, in Clevelands case even scarier w/Winslow Jr.

Although it could prove to be fruitless without a QB, as such I think either team would be foolish to pass on Quinn.
