Would you guys be cool with Ricky Williams coming to the Cowboys? Don't get me wrong, I like MBIII, but Ricky is a much better back and could take a lot of pressure off of Romo. Put him in the backfield with our massive offensive line and the surrounding weapons - he would thrive. I believe he still has about 3-4 good years left in him and would be a perfect compliment to Felix Jones. What would it take to get him here? The Dolphins have another stud at running back in Ronnie Brown and for the right trade I believe they would depart with him.

Would you fellow Zoners sign off on bringing in Ricky? I would.

Go Cowboys

Im sure Parcells would be more than happy to make a trade lol.

Barbers only problem is he still has a bad wheel. I keep waiting each sunday for him to just take off again but he still seems hobbled.

Ricky: 127 rushes for 677 yards - 10th in the NFL
Marion: 103 rushes for 473 yards - 24th in the NFL

Ricky's longest rush this year - 68 yards
Marion's longest rush this year - 35 yards

Ricky's yards per carry - 5.3
Marion's yards per carry - 4.6

Gains of 20 or more yards - Ricky: 4, Marion: 3

Receiving: Ricky 20 catches for 212 yards, Marion 12 catches for 88 yards

Now listen, I know Ricky is getting old and Marion is only what 26? The average running back lasts about 5-7 years anyway and in this win now league, give me somebody that is producing now at a high clip. If comparing the two, right now Ricky is beasting MBIII.

Marion Barber is a Cowboy until his contract runs out unless someone offers a high 1st round pick.

There is just no reason to get rid of him.

When you pass as much as we do it doesn't hurt to have one of the best blitz pick up guys in the game.

Are you aware that Ricky williams has had another week to compile rush attempts and total yardage stats? Not to mention Barber sat out in Carolina and our rushes have to be split 3 ways... but yeah hes 'beasting' MB3...

Ever heard of the Flavor of the Week theory?
Not really. I'm also a UT fan that has followed Ricky since he was a Longhorn. I always loved his talent and was immensely disappointed when he did a few boneheaded things with his life (and with his playing career). It appears he has bounced back and he looks a lot like he did in college. You must admit he still has mad skills.

This thread isn't to knock MBIII I'm just a fan of Ricky. No shame in that, right? :D

No. We have 3 RBs. The RB position is the least of our problems.

You know, geckos tend to find their way onto the front porch a lot, but they haven't as much lately..used to count five or six regularly and the last few years it has been more like 2-3 if that.

Wonder whats happening there..
