He's looked impressive in preseason and is the #2 RB on the depth chart.

Was he on IR last year? I don't remember him ever playing and Malik Davis was the #3 back.

Is he going to be the back up behind Pollard?

I mean Deuce is probably right behind Dowdle.

What are you projecting for Dowdle this season?

Dowdle looks good. The way he's running reminds me a little of Beast Mode. Just when the officials are about to blow the dead ball whistle, he gains another two yards, dragging 2-3 defenders with him. Also looks comfortable catching the ball. He might burn out quick with his running style but imo he is the 2nd RB, hands down. I can see Deuce removing him eventually but for now, Rico is the guy.

He is a piece of the RBBC. How big of a piece and how will he be used we'll find out against the Giants. It will probably be different each week depending on opponent.

Wait...I need one more preseason game...

With this group, someone will have to take a giant leap and earn his way from that point. There is ample talent at this point.

To be fair, he is likely a PS player. Maybe RB3 or RB4.

RJones is returning to practice.

Pollard and RJones are our only vet RBs.

We need all they help we can get.

RB1 Pollard
RB2 RJones
RB3 RD
RB4/PS DV

Jones is suspended the first 2 games of the season so he isn't the #2 back and given his depleted performance last season I doubt he lasts long on the roster.

I believe he is the #2 back where they use Duece in certain packages to avoid him from pass blocking

I might draft Dowdle in Fantasy Football as the handcuff to Pollard.

14 man league so the last pick is pretty much meaningless anyway haha
lol Those ones can be tough. There is never anybody to be found on the waiver wire.

I believe he was injured or stashed on IR last year. Seems to be the primary reliever for Pollard so far. Looking like leupke is looking at the PS. They'll have tough decisions on what to do with Davis if they want to keep him, might have to risk losing him too and put him in the PS unless he can do more on ST.

I like Dowdle. I think he looked solid against the Seahawks. I think the RB lineup should be Pollard, Dowdle, Vaughn, and Luepke (FB).

He is an injury in progress.
This. Super talented. Super injury prone.

Freshman year - Sports hernia surgery
Sophomore year - Broken leg
Junior year - Left ankle injury
Senior year - Groin injury followed by a right knee injury

2020-Played 15 games, mostly on special teams
2021- Hip injury
2022-Ankle injury

Hoping he stays healthy! Because he has the talent
