Yeah exactly. Use that name and it sends me to a project TE or a platinum guaranteed win.

I do NOT think of Dowdle at all, even though I think he ought to be RB1.

Hysterical.
mr fivetwos...who was Dexter Coakley late nineties for Cowboys....GORICO orignially was for Rico Gathers in hopes he make team in 2017 when i first came

to cowboy zone...but now it is for Dowdle...and if Dowdle gets perma-injured or traded....then it will maybe be some off the wall Greek name?

Dowdle (ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: For a sixth week in a row, Dowdle is operating with practice restrictions due to a lingering ankle issue. He's still been able to suit up for the past five game days, turning 38 touches into 132 yards from scrimmage and two TDs while working as Tony Pollard's primary backup. Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not Dowdle enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's visit to Miami.
Don't worry we have Deuce !

So Rico been dealing with same ankle issue this whole time? Thanks for clarification on that.

Hook questionable? Be nice to have our best coverage safety out there helping with Tyreek. Although not sure if he can keep up with the bum ankle.

My OP was only intended to show how dangerously weak we are at RB depth.
More carries for Luepke!

By PFF's estimation he's a decent fit for Elliot's role of interior runner and pass blocker, and better as that than as a lead blocker.

With Pollard showing zip we could use both together with Pollard more of the RB/WR threat he *should* be used as.

We don't really lack ball carriers that much.

Dak is looking spry. Turpin, Lamb, and Cooks all have great YPC.

As long as Pollard stays healthy, we're fine for ball carriers.

Rico update....
Dowdle (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Bobby Belt of 105.3 The Fan Dallas reports.
Analysis: Dowdle has been listed on the injury report for six weeks without ever missing a game. He'll again work off the bench as the Cowboys' No. 2 back behind Tony Pollard.

I sense we will do exactly what we did in Buffalo. Unless we get a lead early. We are very banged up and have shown 0 grit when that happens. Ive already mentally prepared for it.
This is a good take. This team lacks the mental toughness to overcome. Whether it’s injuries, weather, a bad start, road games, whatever, if the stars aren’t aligned they almost never overcome. I hope it changes, and past results are not a guarantee of future performance, but that’s what I see.

not really i don't see a big difference between malik and rico as they brought both last week and the way they use tony pollard so much and hardly give the rest touches, it really dont matter, i mean only 15 touches by 3 backs last week 11 by TP. that should tell you all you need to knw about how the coaching staff uses the backs or lack thereof:facepalm::angry::thumbdown:

the problem here is the way they're being used almost all of the carries going to TP so who does it matter that you bring 4 run 15 times and 11 go to TP??

Latest practice reports.

Miami has a lot of players ... questionable ... however I expect them to play.

With Tyron doubtful, and they have one OL out for sure. We seem more banged up than they do. Because usually questionable means they will most likely play. Especially as all players seem to miraculously heal in time to play us. Or their back ups become all world for 1 game.

Everybody worried about the backups I think I'm more worried about the passing game more than the rushing game as it's kinda odd the Arizona game what are Tony Pollard best games of the year and I don't know about all the other games but it was close to the best rushing output I think we ran for like close to 180 yards total that was with three backup offensive lineman in... Mike McCarthy needs to run the football early and often don't abandon it when it's working it was working last week it worked in the Arizona game.... So just a reminder everyone's already walking off a Cliff because we might be missing two of our offensive lineman that more affected the pass game but we have maybe the backups are better in the run game and we should try to establish that with the running back by committee...

And that won’t happen until around 11:00 PM on February 11th.

Maybe at that point people might “believe”.

Honestly, I’d just like it if people would “root” for the team’s success.
We are all rooting for the team to succeed, but you can't deny we come up short when it matters most, hence, that's why there is always gonna be doubt until they do and daks comment doesn't really instill a lot of faith... maybe this all changes on Sunday,I hope it does for the teams mentality.
