given enough snap, rico could be a lot more than a red zone threatRico is the MAN![]()
Putty with nothing to say, what is the world coming to ?no comment

True and could be a chain mover and 3rd down.given enough snap, rico could be a lot more than a red zone threat
Love that RicoThanks for posting this. I kept hearing about his catch but I must have missed it somehow yesterday.
puttyism works in strange waysPutty with nothing to say, what is the world coming to ?![]()
I didn't get to watch much of the game but from what i saw & the highlights, I think all the TE's did their job blocking on several of the big plays. Can't speak to the catching but I think the "can't block" narrative is no longer true, if it ever was.Jarwin sucks. Can't block and he can't catch. He dropped a pass that hit him right in the hands. that would have gone for a big play. Rico at least hasn't dropped a pass that hit him in the hands so far.
Rico should be our #1 pass catching TE threat.
anybody notice who the TE's were out front blocking on Dak's TD run? Hint, there were two of them and Rico wasn't one of them.
LOL. Watch that play again. Both Swaim and Jarwin were leading the way for Dak. Both blocked their men perfectly. Church came up and had a chance, but took his usual bad angle. But Swaim and Jarwin both blocked that play extremely well. Now, Jarwin can't catch a cold, but for what this team wants to do, he's a much better blocker than Rico. They didn't make a block. Besides who cares. I said pass catching TE. Rico is our best pass catching TE.

Ive heard the so called scouts say he’s incredibly slow but on that one I thought he showed NFL caliber TE speed.
I agree.....jarwin reminds me of fasano, in that he has size and can get open, but has stone hands.Rico and Swaim should be primary TE’s, Jarwin is hot garbage.
He's been here 3 years now. If he hasn't gotten his assignments down by now, chances are he isn't ever going to get them down.Yes it was a good blocks by our TEs. I still think if Rico can get his blocking assignments down he will be much better TE. Honestly, Dallas needs to stop using the 2 TE sets so much and spread the offense out more.

there are 2 strategies. one is to put more blockers upfront. the other is to force the d to spread apart thereby reducing the number of defenders in the middle. You should care about blocking assignments because we are a run first team.
Rico looks like a man against boys... there is just no way a DB is gonna line up against him in the slot and consistently keep him from making plays. It is time, IMO , to start taking advantage of what he brings to the table.Rico should be in there a lot, even split out wide, he can get the mis-match and move the chains.![]()
