Riddle me this about Garrett...

I've read some comments here that Garrett is considered the next up and coming coaching candidate...

That surely we'll have the next great coach in our system and there are "whispers" around the league that he's a garnering a lot of respect from league people...

Yet he wasn't even interviewed for the Miami HC job even though he's a Miami assistant AND he wasn't even promoted to OC even after Cameron was interviewed?...

What am I missing here?...

The stars are aligned here...no use in fighting it.

Whether he is the HC now or later it seems that at some time we will see the pairing of look alikes on the sidelines.

Maybe Cameron wanted to name his own OC and is still interviewing candidates?

Maybe he was going to be the teams OC and that is why they just went out and grabbed one when they realized he was gone.

I thought Garrett was offered the OC job with Miami. Someone mentioned that on ESPN radio yesterday, but they could have been wrong.
