I always thought Jimmy should have been in the ROH but people questioned if he was with the team long enough. Now that length of time with the team is no longer a mitigating factor with Haley's inclusion, Jimmy should be next without question. Actually, he should have gone in before Haley, IMO.

I was reading through the thread regarding the ROH picks just to get your thoughts on it but you didn't comment. I know how passionate you are about the HOF (snubs), ROH and Cowboys history in general; I'll take your silence as an affirmation of how you feel about it. Am I wrong?

Jones said it’s not fun being the judge and the jury for the Ring of Honor.

“What I do is take it very seriously. I’ve had offers of many ways to do it,” Jones said. “Tex [Schramm] advised me to do it this way. He said don’t set a system up. You’ll end up with players who might not have been what we had in mind. There’s not a real right [way] because it’s subjective and of course we have a storied franchise and we have a lot of people in their way who deserve to be there. To make it special and keep it special, I’m going to go back to Tex again, make it very exclusive.”

Jones said someone he’d consider inducting in future years would by former coach Jimmy Johnson.

I think all three deserve it. I am not all that jazzed about all 3 at the same time. They are not the Triplets after all.

I am still very angry that we did not have a ceremony to close Texas Stadium.

I am still very angry that we did not have a ceremony to bless the new stadium.

I am still very angry that we could not have a ceremony because of hosting a Super Bowl.

I feel these types of things, and the mistaken year for our 50th anniversary are things that upset karma, the football gods, or whatever you want to call good fortune.

It is way overdue for Drew to be in. I am relieved and that relief over rides any angst I may have about the other 2 or all 3 going in same day. I am going to let my relief that he is in, be the emotion I feel.
