Oh crap! When someone started a thread last week that Apollo Creed died, at first I thought they meant Carl Weathers. This sucks, I loved him in the Rocky movies, Predator, Action Jackson...everything I've ever seen him in.

R.I.P. Mr. Weathers...We didn't get to see nearly enough from you!

About a week ago someone started a thread saying Apollo Creed died, and i thought they were talking about Carl Weathers and was like oh no ...... then i felt worse when it ended up being a 30 year old poster.

RIP sir ......... you defined a bad *** in my childhood.

From Rocky to Predator, from Action Jackson to Happy Gilmore, from Arrested Development to playing in Toy Story to commercials with Gronk. Carl Weathers spanned nearly 50 years of entertaining us. He was excellent in the roles that he played, and was surprisingly funny playing off of Adam Sandler. Will miss his acting greatly. RIP.

His comedy roles were awesome. Happy Gilmore and his recurring role on Arrested Development as himself were gold. Nothing tops the epic handshake with Arnie in Predator, though.
