Rest in Peace, Charlie.

This should be viewed as a tragedy by all sides because assassination is always evil. Keep it respectful and politics free.

Thank you.

Again, Rest in Peace, Charlie.

No matter what side you fell on - if you actually listened to him, he was a good person. Would give anyone the opportunity to debate and no matter how nasty someone got towards him, he would smile and come back with a well thought out response.

There's a clip from him awhile back, answering a lady who asked him why he does what he does. His response was basically - Once you stop talking, that's when people get violent. The lack of words builds hate between people and divides them.

Man, I found out yesterday when on my FB Feed I watched him get shot uncensored.
Wasn't expecting that logging in.

This will only stoke the hate for one another. Sad, especially since today is the 24th anniversary of 9-11 and we had relative, short term, peace with our neighbors, no matter what way they voted.

I didn't follow him, but seeing him get shot really impacted me. I'm a bit desensitized by videos of death, but that one sort of stuck.

Rest in Peace Kirk.

If you don't care for the person who passed, by all means stay out of the thread.

I view Bill Maher and Charlie Kirk the same way.
I rarely agree with everything they say
But have always been profoundly moved by their constant logic, reasoning, integrity.and eagerness to debate those that opposed
Such a loss....for all of us

Im just really sad & think I'll stay this way....for a long while.

I feel bad for his family just like I felt bad for the family of the congresswoman killed in June. Too much violence in this world to take care of differences! My thoughts are …go to the grocery store one day and see how many people smile or nod, or talk etc. It’s like that in offices too. For the most part this kindness doesn’t involve anything to do with who they are politically, school wise, regionally etc…just humans. That’s the way it should be. Civil and kind. Families should never have to deal with this based on opinion,

Such a brilliant, logical, and gifted young man.
He was a “facts over feelings” super genius.

The world did not deserve him, but we were lucky to have him for as long as we did. His impact will last a very long time, and his legacy will continue to grow.

May God bless him and his family.

Thank you, Charlie, for the wonderful things that you have shared with humanity. I am confident that more great people will rise to take your place.
