His name befits an NFL wide receiver (or a pro wrestler).
Good on special teams.
Richards supplanted Cowboys Legend \ NFL HOFer Bob Hayes as a starter in 1974.
Was outstanding in the still run-emphasis era of the league; in three seasons, caught 66 passes for 1,332 yards = 20 yards per catch.
Female Cowboys fans fawned over Richards because of his looks...but he was a gritty, tough as nails competitor on the field for Dallas in every game.
I appreciated watching him as a teenager in those long-ago times.

RIP ... I was a little kid when he played and he was one of my favorites, liked his name and it helped that he caught touchdowns from Roger,,, and Robert.

A favorite player of this kid who came of age in the Seventies.

If not for his rib injury in the Super Bowl, no one would have ever heard of Percy Howard.
