RIP Henry 2001-2020

I feel ya, I had an awesome cat name squeaky (he didn't meow, he squeaked), had him for like 14 years and he got to the point where he slept right next to me. I couldn't sleep in my bed for a week after I lost him. Damn suckers get my heart in a FIERCE way. He was so funny, he always looked angry but was sweet as pie:

I was fortunate to find another awesome cat a few months after and I'm just as hooked, having another one has really eased the pain and provided constant joy and hilarity. Cats are funny as ****!

I know its gonna take you a while but get another one as soon as you can, it'll do your heart good

Yim, these are wonderful pictures. Thank you for sharing. I too found another wonderful kitty again at the local shelter after I had to put my "Cowboy" down two years ago. Shelter animals make wonderful pets.

Had him since January 2002 when I was 9. Sadly, he passed away this afternoon from a liver and kidney issue.

I had a little ball with a bell in it and Stevie would play go fetch with it just like a dog toss it he ran after it and brought it back had a studio apartment when I got him i'd throw it upstairs to make him run up and down the stairs he never got tired

The only drawback is that You'll likely lose them one day.
My condolences Todd, but as many have said, You can take comfort from the fact that He had as long and happy a life as a cat could hope for.
