RIP John Heard (Home Alone)

He was found dead in a hotel after "minor" back surgery. He has had many roles, a lot of small ones but I liked him in The Soprano's, an underrated actor IMO.

I never know what to do re: likes, when someone posts a death notice on the board.

I'd like to acknowledge that the person took the time to post it for us but it doesn't seem right to 'like' a death story.

I agree with dexter though, he was underrated. A fine actor.

Oddly the first movie that jumped into my mind was Cat People, where he co-starred with the (at one time) very hot Nastassja Kinski.

He was really good and legitimately melancholy as the detective in The Sopranos. RIP.

He was 72 and had just undergone back surgery. I guess I hadn't considered the idea that John was just a john.

That's right... he was in there.

As a young gun seeing that movie for the first time... difficult to remember anyone else but Nastassja.

Heard has had this swollen look for the last couple of years. Reminded me of john Ritter before he died.


He was in the movie BIG too!
