RIP Ken Dryden

He back stopped Montreal to 6 Stanley Cups in the 70s. He sat out a year over a contract dispute…otherwise it would have been 7. Dryden only played 6 games his first year and lead Montreal to a surprise championship and played 7 more seasons and won 6 championships. 6 championships in 8 years and retired a champion.

Ken 'The four story goalie' Dryden broke my heart more than any other athlete in any sport.

RIP

Before the NHL he had a stellar college career and won a natty and only lost 4 games in his college career.

He was a straight up a winner. He did not like losing…

Hockey in the 70’s was great . And the Canadiens were at the top of the hill . And unlike the Flyers of that era with goons the Canadiens with Dryden were playing hockey not roller derby .

Talking about coffee I love Tim Horton coffee buy it with Amazon prime . The old Toronto Maple Leaf of the Dryden era .

The Montreal Canadiens are so classy. Well done Montreal.

A great send off for a great human first and a hall of fame Stanley Cup champion…

Many former teammates were in attendance.
