I follow (and almost never participate) in the Romo is good / Romo sucks debates that rage on CZ and rarely am influenced one way or another in my opinions....

Here is my opinion. Romo is a mini-Favre. Romo is become the guys that the opposing players / coaches always say "... at least once or twice in the game he will throw it straight to the Defense".

Favre was the same way... however, Favre was so a great overall player that he managed to win a superbowl despite his propensity to throw game-crushing INTs.

I'm not convinced Romo, as much as I love the guy, is ever going to be the guy who isn't going to throw the game-crushing INTs in crunchtime of big games.

I hope I am wrong...

i agree i am officially done with romo. all the stats and bull**** excuses are over. he is done and will never win anything of importance. i don't see manning brees brady or any other elite QB single handed lose games as much as he does. he had GREAT blocking so there is no excuse except he is TRASH. And i was a romo fan for all of those people who are gonna defend him no matter what. Wake up and realize he is not gonna take us nowhere!

I still believe in Tony Romo. He gave this game away, but we have nothing else. Romo can turn it around.

Aikman and Buck kept mentioning the illegal hit on Romo as to why we were up by 3. But never mentioned the two Int's for Td's as a reason for us not to be up by 17. They didn't give Romo any credit for the loss.

I think we can beat the Pats but you are right, Romo gave this away. I stepped away from the computer for a few minutes and was shocked at the score after the two int. Unbelieveable. Now we will see what the media says about Romo. Brady did not get any grief last weekend when he threw 4 int. This really does hurt. I just hope it doesn't hurt us in making the playoffs. I still believe.

I didn't think it was possible to lose this game...playing so well until Tony handed them 14 points..how can a guy look so brilliant one week and in the first half of this game then flipflop to abysmal..i just dont understand...He stunk it up when it mattered

Romo = DUMB, no idea what is going on in the game. Great skills, sparks of greatness, you don't win consistently with QBs this stupid though.

The guy is what Bill Parcells called a street player. I was a staunch defender of Romo for quite awhile, but this game (added to countless others) prove he is really a ****** who can't be trusted with the ball. He's more interested in making highlight plays than winning games. Otherwise he would work toward a win instead of throwing pick after pick. He has the talent, but not the brains. Sad game. I'm really too pissed to say much more, but I'll be around next week...just like the last 35 years of watching the Cowboys.

Remember when I said cut Romo everyone said I should be banned for that statement now it seems to be the correct move. Season is still early so maybe they can turn it around but who knows.
