***Rip on Romo Thread***

Just to be clear, I'm the one that mentioned White, and I never compared him to Romo.

I feel like White was setup to fail, whereas Romo has been setup to win. That's the only comparison I'd make between the two.

Oh ok. Because you said so....must make it so right?

Our fans are so stupid.

All I know is half this thread gets more out of this teams struggles than it's win. It's embarrassing. Like a bunch of sharks to pounce on the team and fans here n the forum

It's disgusting.

Could we like pay you fools to leave CBZ?
Try reading my posts. You got OWNED and don't even know it. LOL! Get a clue

Exactly. Same mind numbing reaction of everyone after the Week 1 loss. You'd think it was Week 15 & we only need 1 win to get in the Playoffs or something. Wait til Week 8 to start losing your minds. Sheesh.

So we shouldn't be upset that Romo lost a game that we had in hand and that we would be 3-1 going into the bye if he hadn't made dumb decisions?

I think more accurate is, posters like to be right and point at others and laugh (Which has absolutely nothing to do with football or our team, btw).

Example: (Seconds after the game has ended)

Poster #1: Man I cannot believe we lost that game because of Romo. I simply cannot believe it. I don't know about that guy any more!

Poster #2: Hey Poster #1, you're an idiot and a troll. <insert emoticons here>

Let's have a little context here, shall we? It's seconds after we lost a game up 27-3. Why is it not understandable that people will be raged beyond reason about their team? The anger from losses like this are probably as intoxicating as alcohol. And yet people would rather bash other posters passionate about their team, so they can look smart, than sympathize a bit and just say "I know you're upset man, and I can see why you are, but that just isn't the answer".

These same posters talk about how important team chemistry is, how about a little fan chemistry? How about picking your fellow fan up instead of trying to be right all the time?

Yeah there may be some trolls out there, sure. But is it so shocking that fans are going to be so upset that they will not always be speaking reasonably? Isn't this a place for people to vent?

What kind of poster here would be more concerned about bashing the latest target, another Cowboy fan, who is speaking out of concern for his team, even if it's not always sound. I'd say a poster doing that kind of thing is more the troll than the one who just wants the best for his team.

You didn't own anything, but continue being the fool and pretending. :D

I read your posts btw..they just told me things I already knew. Still doesn't support your argument, but ok.

Game 4 of a 16 game season, the immediate reaction of a bitter loss and Romo throws 3 INT's. This is all understandable but...

A lot of football left to be played. Nobody is done yet.

Or you can say we've played 4 games this year & given 2 away. Pick your poison...

Upset? Sure. Writing him off? No. He's not the ONLY one responsible for this loss today.

That was me and I still stand by my statement. Romo will lead us to glory. You will see!

right, but no you didn't start threads on it. he will lead us to the #1 overall pick

yes he is. i cant believe how easy some of you guys are on romo.

HE IS THE SOLE REASON WE LOST. GET IT THRU YOUR HEAD.

I've rarely seen Hos post a string of excuses in those threads. They're pretty straight forward.

If anything, they're pretty spot on.

Oh please.

According to Hostile 31 other teams lose like this all the time.

He's in complete denial about the trend that follows this team.

See, I think that is nothing but susperstition and voodoo thinking at best. I can show you where every team in the NFL loses in virtually the same way we did last night.
(jets game)
Note, I said virtually. I realize how much people hate to be shown facts about other teams and how those other teams don't really compare to us because we have a hole in the stadium roof, and wear white at home or whatever other lame excuse will be made for why it doesn't compare.

no kidding. DW had to follow Staubach, Romo got to follow Carter/Bledsoe

Not happy at all.

Im just used to this.

But 31 other teams lose like this all the time right?

And that's the sad truth-acceptance of the situation is one thing. Satisfaction with the situation, the refusal to point out Romo's shortcomings, or the propensity to point to other errors in the game to placate the Romo haters is quite another. Seriously-if this is the greatest comeback ever against the Cowboys, there's going to be backlash against the guy throwing 2 pick-sixes and another late in the game.

He does it-we expect it-some of us are sick when watching it-and we use this opportunity to express it. Hey he is a tough dude for getting out there and even playing. We want a guy that makes more conservative plays when we are leading a game that much.

PS-Calvin Johnson is every bit as good as Randy Moss and unfortunately we couldn't jump as high and reach the ball at the point his hands can get the ball (the story of BOTH his TDs).

But the Main one, would the Lions have the Life to come back and win if not for the two pick sixes. Romo lost this game, no matter who else you blame he is still the main reason

True.

You can't make excuses like you could against the Jets when he lost us that game.

This game was 100% without a doubt Romos fault.

Haha! Fooled ya! It wasn't me, man. There is no way I would make that comment. Just trying to lighten up a little to get through this tough loss. Sorry about that.:)

Typing in big letters doesn't change the fact that you are wrong. Carry on.

I also think this is a great post. I'm not participating in any of the bloodletting but I understand it.

I think it works like this:

Some get mad at Romo

Some get mad at Jerry

Some get mad at Garrett

Some get mad at posters who get mad at Romo or Garrett or Jerry, etc.. etc..

Everyone is mad at somebody :D

Yes & Garrett had nothing at all to do with it.
