RIP Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf.....A true American hero.

Wow. Just wow. An honorable soldier and leader. RIP General Schwarzkopf.

I never met him, but he and my dad were in HS together in Germany after WWII. They both played on the football team.

He certainly was a guy to be respected.

I will only speak a little on this.

Warrior

Old School MAN

Scared the crap out of all his subordinates when he was upset.

I salute you old man and I am putting my flag at half mast.

His press conference to close out the first Gulf War was pure classic...

A great soldier and a great American.

Had a friend who was a 3 star general. Never met a 4 star personally. They are impressive men at that rank.

RIP General.

Not a quote, but he once said in so many word he hoped his men complained on the way home he was an SOB, because it meant he got them back alive.

RIP...I know nothing about him but hope they come out with a book because he sounds like an interesting and very successful man.

his autobiography was very good. I reccomend it

From another thread, someone might suggest this was another one of the "so what?" 2012 noteables deaths. I say he served our country well and saved many that were under his command.

Thank you Norman.

I met him at a Zig Ziglar motivational conference. Jimmy Johnson, Barbara Bush, and several others were also guest speakers. I recorded the speeches. I should listen to his again. He spoke on leadership. It was absolutely great.

Later I got to briefly shake his hand and thank him. I found him to be friendly, engaging, and funny. I really respected this man and think we lost one truly great American.

General "Stormin" Norman Schwarzkopf.

They do not make men like him any longer.

RIP Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf Jr.
