RIP Norm. One of the funniest men to ever come from Canada…

His brother Neil is a reporter for the CBC news (national news) Canada…

Loved Norm, totally shocking tbh
He was also great on the talk shows (Conan/Letterman) and you could feel the respect from them regarding how witty he was. Had them on edge the whole way through but knew they were witnessing someone special.
RIP to one of the great ones

Just saw that SNL's Norm McDonald died today after a nine-year battle with cancer. He was 61.

Deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Him and Jimmy Kimmel were great in their show

We lose Fred Willard last year and now Norm MacDonald, two very funny men that always reminded me of each other in their delivery. At least Fred lived to be 86 and lived a full life, Norm's was cut too short.

Norm always had me because he looked like he knew the joke was coming and he could hardly wait to share it with us.

Makes me a little sadder when it's a comedian because I buy the "sad clown" part of their lives and they're just trying to cheer themselves up and taking us along for the ride. But how special a life to live, giving people laughs for gifts.

I watched a YouTube video a couple of weeks ago and it was showing how good Norm was at saving awkward interviews on talk shows when other guests were ruining the show. Norm was amazing and the host of the talk shows was so appreciative. Norm was funny, even when he wasn’t trying to be. That is a rare talent.

One of my favorite comedians!

You know you're a legendary comedian when it's common for comedians to ask other comedians on their shows or podcasts to tell a "Norm Story." Heard that quite a bit before he died.

Also kudos to "Dirty Work!" One of the funniest movies ever, an underrated gem! His show that only lasted 2-3 seasons or something short like that was also a great watch!

He did look rough lately. His Netflix show, he wasn't looking so hot. I just thought it was normal age, but I guess it was the cancer starting to win. RIP.

this is one of my favorite Norm clips.

his delivery is perfect.

I really like this show too in general. Just off the cuff riffing by some of the worlds best comics.
