Made a huge play in the Ice Bowl to get the Cowboys back into the game, sacking and stripping Bart Starr of the ball, which George Andrie returned for a touchdown. Townes was a very talented guy, but his weight issues got him out of Dallas, and his career ended a short time later after a knee injury. RIP to a pretty good LDE on Doomsday I.
