Rising Cowboys star shares why Super Bowl drought could end in 2025

For what?

Why do our fans overrate the players on this team?

Tell me what should we give him credit for? Showing up?
I mean he had the 8th most touchdowns in the NFL last year....Lamb had 6....

Not sure how that's "overrating" him lol. Especially when most wanted him gone or replaced lol.

And that all makes sense, it's very true, and I hope people keep the same energy during the season and not rip some of the other players like the tight ends or the rest of the group, when they're not getting fed because their stats are not going to grow..

there's less targets to go around but what you want to see is impact plays, when they do get in there... I would love to see Tolbert and Turpin do some of the things Cedric Wilson and Noah Brown did when they eventually got into games, they were impactful....

So I agree.for once LOL:muttley:.
What happens if some members do not keep the same energy as you see it?

He definitely did a good job of finding the end zone. And I would probably use him more than the other backups when we get inside the 20. With the attention defenses will give to Pickens and Lamb, he could benefit there.

Yep. Single covered, he may be able to benefit in the red zone. Especially for a team that couldn't manage to score in the red zone, he's an asset. Cooks were to some extent.

Yeah but there's a do not want and a have to know the difference LOL I don't think anybody wants to throw that much but there was a reason in Seattle that those three years he was the OC it didn't end well because of irreconcilable differences because Pete Carroll thought he threw too much but on the bright side it was three of the best years passing wise touchdowns touchdown interception ratio and yards by Russell Wilson that's a good coincidence we absolutely have Russell Wilson 2.0 here so if it turns out it's a necessity that's my point we may have to throw..
You think Dak is Russell Wilson 2.0? Sure, if you remove the mobility and the ability to connect on passes way deep downfield. Carbon copy, actually. Lol.

79 catches last year and big increase in production last year. Not a stretch at all.
That's a swing and a miss.

I think you looked at someone else's stat line.

49-610-7 in 2024. 12+ yard avg.

Those would be respectable numbers for a #3 WR if the run game is viable.

I certainly don't expect that kind of production out of the TE which I think is a shame.

Good for Tolbert. Took him 3 years to get into the endzone. What a great draft pick!

You know when Ill give a player credit on this team? When they play with one arm, like Lamb did last season. When it doesnt take them 3 years to figure out this is their job. Those are when i will give a player credit.

The SB drought certainly isn’t ending in 2025. lol Just making the playoffs will be a challenge with Philly and Washington ahead of us. Tolbert a rising star? If that was true we wouldn’t have traded for Mingo and Pickens. We drafted Tolbert hoping he could be our WR2 and now he’s in a battle for WR3.
I can agree with this. For so long, Washington and Giants were terrible. Giants still are but Washington is now ahead of us in most facets. Even if we reach the playoffs, it will most likely be a wild card route. And no way Dallas wins that many road playoff wins in a row to get to the Super Bowl. Heck, they can't even get there when they have top seeds.

I do know everyone will express themselves with their individual energy--just as they do every time they post.
incoming!!........................start running now!!

We have no idea what injuries Tolbert played with. I imagine he did just like every other player did. It's a physically demanding sport. Not sure why Tolblert is triggering you like this I could see if I said Dak or someone lol. Tolbert at best is a #3 and maybe #4 if Mingo finally starts to click.
