I'd draft LB-ers from Penn State but I'd stay away from Penn State QB's and I'm saying that as a Penn State alum.

to me they all have traits, but not between the ears. some will become starters and most will be backups.

most i’m interested in is the baylor and OU kids. they have moxie can read defense and are athletic. you need those in NFL. will they do well who knows it’s all a crap shoot.

Josh Hoover might be a nice pick in the 3-6 rounds

He has the physical talent but as with all such QBs he was able to rely on that until college in a top tier team. Those that make it are the ones that develop the mental part of their game. He might still get there but not yet.

He will still go in the first round. Players with all the intangibles get multiple chances. I think a team like Pittsburg who is good but isn't allotted the top picks will settle for those intangibles. Will Howard and Allar will fight it out and conjure in the next Roethlisberger.

Robertson has a low completion percentage so that is a concern

Mateer I am uncertain about. But he has lots of potential

Aguilar I like because he has already learned to throw it away to avoid sacks but can he grow?

Carson Beck has been solid this season, and he has a big game today. Wonder can Beck rehab his draft stock, and look like a really good QB again.

Arch Manning has got to show a lot more next season to be considered a first round pick much less the first overall. I’m a Manning fan being from MS but the entire Texas offense is way out of whack.

Their OLine isn’t good either but Arch looks lost out there. I want to beat OU, so I would put Caldwell out there.
