Brewing on horizon is talk that Eagles are simply dynamic team with Foles at QB. If Philly gets into playoffs and gets at least to 2nd round the Eagles could make Foles their QB going forward. He is 29 years old and likely won't make more than $20 million year. Eagles would then shop Wentz for massive haul.

This is a bad scenario for Cowboys fans because Eagles would have: 1) better QB 2) cheaper QB and 3) massive assets from trading Wentz.

Best case scenario is Minny wins last game and Eagles get eliminated. Their fan base is already completely divided between Foles/ Wentz. Not getting to playoffs wouldn't give them enough evidence to make decision in either direction.

Wentz is the future in Philly. He's not going anywhere.

Anybody remember August 2016 when the Cowboys tried to sign Foles after the Rams (yes, the Rams) cut him? This was right after Kellen Moore broke his leg and a couple weeks before Romo went down. Foles decided to join Andy Reid in Kansas City that year instead. And then he almost retired before re-signing with the Eagles.

Funny how things work out. But I'm a Vikings fan this weekend.

I was thinking about this earlier. Eagles trade Wentz to Jacksonville and sign Foles. We trade Dak to Jacksonville for Wentz. Foles regresses and we beat Philly bloody with Wentz as our QB.

Fun thought anyway...

Didn't Foles already poop the bed as a the "franchise" QB?

Or did he poop on a wall?

Foles worries me much more than Wentz. Foles is clutch and as the reigning Super Bowl MVP has already proven himself on the biggest stage of them all.

The eagles are basically married to Wentz. He ain't getting traded.
And even if he was the eagles aren't getting a massive haul for him.

I think they stated on the game the other night that Foles was going to retire but decided to join Reid in KC. I think that was what they said.

If Philly traded Wentz over Foles how is that bad for Cowboy fans lol?Don't get me wrong....Wentz until proven otherwise is just a stat padder who throws a pretty ball. But he's still only a 3 year pro and looks superior to Foles in every regard. So if they want to believe in Foles go ahead.
