I really dont like calling people out but Rack, you said Rivera had a bad game. Now he has two bad games against slightly above average DT's and gives up sacks. If he keeps playing like this he is gone this offseason IMO. So is Gurode. We will draft at least 2 Olineman and sign another starting caliber C or OG unless Peterman shows us something.

Jerry should have gave this guy his money back, and sent him packing when he hurt his back, because he hasnt done anything to help this OL

I haven't been able to watch closely enough in recent weeks (missed today's game) but I can't help but wonder how much the Petitti factor has affected Rivera. I keep hearing than he's been helping and teaching Petitti. Perhaps that's made his play look worse than it really is. Adam? Any insight?

SOMETHING happened to him after that surgery...He is NOT the player that Parcells brought in here...

All I remember hearing is how Rivera will make everyone around him better, well my God everyone around him must have really sucked.

I'm starting to be willing to eat Rivera's cap hit this offseason more and more.

Just another lesson ... NO BIG signing bonus' to players past their 10th season. That includes OL-men.

Was there suppose to be a question in there somewhere?

And you come to the conclusion that Rivera had a bad game cuz of ONE picture? By the way, that's Strahan he's blocking, not some "average" DT.

And that was on the first time they did that stunt/alignment. The next time they did it Rivera did a good job.

I'm not saying he's good, but he's certainly not "Bad". Regardless of what you chicken littles say.

Next time you "Call me out" try and have a valid reason for it.

What I'd like to know is if Rivera is struggling due to the inexperience/limitations of Johnson and Petitti or if it is the other way round, that our raw RT and still-learning-on-the-job Centre are being let down by the experienced Rivera. This is what I would like someone such as Adam, Hostile, dbair, LTN or even Nors to explain to me as I missed today's game and haven't been able to record the games I have seen (thereby not having the chance to really analyze the games the way I have in the past.)

The only question I had about signing Rivera was that Green Bay had one chance to be good and that was to protect Farve at all costs and they didn't do it but we signed the guy to protect a statue. I guess when you draft Peterman and Rogers you back yourself into a corner and have to overspend on a free agent.

Rivera is far from the problem on this OLine. One play getting blown up by Michael Strahan a bad player does not make.

Rivera is OVER-RATED.....

PERIOD

Rivera also sustained a back injury in the offseason from lifting weights.

Sheesh! You people love throwing stones.
