His 4th and 3 in the opener widely criticized cost the Cowboys an opportunity in 4th qtr to extend the game.

Yesterday he doubled down and risked it 2 more times. The first adding to our early turnover debacle putting us in a bigger hole in our territory. And the second one which in better field position possibly made more sense but should have used our offense instead of punting team. Both unsuccessful Risk looking really bad.

Throw in going for a 2 point conversion too early instead of leaving us only 1 score down and our new HC has made more poor decisions early in a season than I can recall in years. If not for all of the turnovers these poor decisions could have been the headline again this week.

Despite our horrific 1st qtr debacle and these horrid coaching decisions which could have thwarted a comeback attempt we witnessed one of the most improbable wins in Cowboy history probably saving our playoff hopes looking 0-2 squarely in the eye thanks to one of the biggest gaffs I’ve seen in my 60+ years watching football with Falcons not falling on onside kick. Which will be extremely difficult for them to recover from and I’d bet ends their coaches tenure sometime during or after this season barring a miraculous rebound . Bad teams find a way to lose.

Riverboat Mike should be very thankful not only for the Falcons gaff but Prescott's performance . He took advantage. This most improbable win probably saved the season , at least for now , cause the dumpster fire would have been huge.

We still have many concerns on defense and the injuries but at least for now the seasons playoff hopes were saved although in what appears another awful division 0-2 might have still been in play although I don’t know anyone who has seen a playoff caliber team yet. And it might not look any better next Sunday.

This might also place Dak in a new stratosphere as he needed a comeback win badly himself. Riverboat Mike owes him as well.
