Any chance we trade for him after the season? Going to need a franchise qb at some point, why not rivers.

My answer would also be no, but just because I think Bledsoe's got a few more years left in him, and Rivers is already in year two, and I don't want my franchise QB sitting that long.

Bledsoe is not ready to not play right now and his play is bringing that point home even more

Hell NO! They want a #1 for him and they will get it but not from us. I predict he ends up in Chicago or Washington.

Why does someone always have to bring this up?
It is old, can't our QB situation be left alone?

Sadly were going to keep seeing them and those Matt Leinart threads also

No jazz, it's our second favorite postion now with emergence of TT, everybody loves to talk about our QB situtaion.

after the 2006 season, I think. that's when we start looking for our next QB. He can sit and watch Bledsoe in 2007 and be ready to go in 2008. that's way down the road.

1. free safety
2. another young OG
3. Ot
4. fullback
5. do we bring back Terry Glenn? His contract's up and he's having a heck of a year.

all more pressing needs, not really in order, to look at next offseason IMO. But that's away's away too.

Bingo. Except I'm not sure how important getting another Fullback is, and I'd probably have O-line help at #1.

Let Romo and Henson continue to learn... we have another preseason or two to evaluate them before they're needed. And if they can't turn the corner, we can always draft someone else and have them learn behind Bledsoe.

Rivers will cost a fortune, and who knows if he's even the goods?

I dont see our QB situation going anywhere. Ok, yeah Bledsoes is gonna play for us the next 3 years lets say. (Up to 2008) But wuts after that? If we're plannin on stickin with Henson hes gonna be wut by 2008? 29 Years Old? Dang!!! Romo on teh other hand is not our franchise QB.

I think we play Bledsoe this season, and at the end of this season we either put Henson in! or we go get another QB, and try to get him ready by 2007. (and younger than henson)

Cause all I'm seein is...OK LETS PLAY BLEDSOE UNTIL HE CANT GIVE ANYMORE, AND LETS HAVE HENSON ALMOST 30 YEARS OLD (BY 2008) AND PUT HIM TO PLAY. .......NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE...

I wouldn't have it at the top, of course, but I think it's important. It would be on my list. I don't really remember even seeing Polite on field much against the Giants, and tight ends in the backfield is happening too much. Get somebody back there that can blow open the hole. Parcells probably sees his fullback a little differently, though. He had a chance to get a guy like that, and he brought in Ritchie anderson. I want a moose, not a ritchie anderson.

I agree, but I'd add ILB to that list of '06 offseason needs. ILB's are cheap (relatively speaking) if you can find one in FA, same for FS. I think we'll draft heavy on OL next draft (probably an OT and OG) and maybe a LB and/or FS. 2007 is the draft to take our future QB if we decide Henson isn't it.
2007 offseason needs will likely be: WR, DT, and QB (depending on Henson)

How do you know? From what I have seen that is entirely incoclusive. The guy just makes plays. I think he could be pretty special one day. But, then again, that is just my gut feeling.

Man! BP sure is blind then...If youre right, and romo only makes plays...Why is he behind Bledsoe? I MEAN....ALL HE DOES IS MAKE PLAYS....
