RJ Ochoa: Full Tracker List Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Updates

We're talking about Jerry, not me. I wouldn't interview either of these guys.
I mean.....i'd prefer someone like Ben Johnson and a few other names over Deion...sure....but Deion is such a Jerry move. Its about selling hope to this franchise and right now what bigger name then Deion? Kellen is a guy they essentially fired....who got let go again....just to go to Philly and look decent with a stacked team. He could probably sell that in some form or fashion but not like Deion.

They cant interview those Lions coaches until they are done
Is that a Lions thing? Because you typically can unless Glenn and Johnson are waiting....which is silly because the jobs will fill up....in Glenn's case. Ben Johnson seems like the biggest catch so I can see him doing it.

Lol, I just reread the OP. It's regarding an update on who "is" being considered currently. I mistook it for who they are proposing. I sure hope when the time comes, he gets an interviewed. It would be a huge mistake to pass on him.

What, no mention of Ben Johnson?

Jerry and company will milk this drama for all they can get out of it. Sadly, I feel they will eventually interview Johnson for the optics. Float that he's at the top of their list for consideration. The media will sensationalize it for all they can get out of it. And the organization will hire mediocrity. I sure hope I'm wrong.
As reported:

"He will not chase interviews," Breer reported on Prime Video's Thursday Night Football broadcast. "If he takes an interview, it's going to be with the intention of actually pursuing the job."

Johnson also has "a couple of criteria" that are new to his list of requirements.

"No. 1, he'll be looking for organizational alignment, particularly between the GM and the head coach," Breer said. "And then he'll be looking for a recognition from the organization on things that have gone wrong and the willingness to fix them."

This takes Dallas out of Ben's list of organizations he would like to interview.

Let’s simplify it;
Aaron Glenn is going to the Jets.

Ben Johnson is going to the Raiders and Tom Brady is going to step down as an announcer and become the full-time GM president whatever.

Leslie Frazier and Saleh unfortunately fit and fill the Rooney rule.

Brian Johnson is not a real candidate despite what Jori Epstein says.

It’s Deion for big coin + a buyout to Colorado. Or Deion gets a huge raise from the university.
Would anybody be surprised if Jerry is actually doing the favor?

Kellen Moore is the guy / a true puppet - malleable and controllable.
You can fill that staff out with JJ’s favorites Witten - Zimmer and a few other ex Cowboys who never got it done.

Jerry will tell you on Kellen Moore’s announcement day that he didn’t regret letting him go because he felt KM needed to grow and become a more well rounded coach. Now he comes back home.

I was really believing that Deion was going to be the coach but the more you read this - it’s Garrett 2.0.

Well just about every other team interviewed them during their bye week. They don't want to come here anyway

He wants too much control and he doesn't have the same name and pedigree with Jerry as Prime does so doubtful lol

Interviews set:
- Robert Saleh
- Leslie Frazier
- Kellen Moore

Other names offered:
- Deion Sanders (who reportedly would "almost certainly" accept)
- Jason Witten

All these guys suck. Where is Ben Johndon. Where ate the innovative offensive coaches

Yeah we let the date to interview them go by because we waited to long to part ways with McCarthy !

Thing is, there are other coordinators interviewing this week, so it has be a Lions thing. Monken has interviewed with several teams. Moore is interviewing with us. Other guys have interviewed different places.

Because no one considers him as even a remotely likely option.

There are lots of candidates not on the list and the reason is that they aren’t even rumored to be in the mix.

People shouldn’t waste their time speculating about him.
It is reasonable and not a popularity comparison.

I think it's a Luons and the coaches thing. Which makes sense its a bit disturbing and takes focus away from preparations
